Global Start

Welcome!

We are excited that you have chosen UC Santa Cruz, and look forward to meeting you at Global Start!

Global Start is our international student orientation program designed to help you get to know each other, learn more about campus, and ease your transition to UCSC. During Global Start, you will meet staff from International Student & Scholar Services and around the campus who are here to support your studies at UCSC.

You will also get to know our fantastic team of Global Leaders. Like you, many of our Global Leaders have are international students themselves or have the experience of studying abroad. You will see them around campus wearing their yellow Global Leader t-shirts. If you ever have a question, feel free to go up to one of them for help!
